Assured (Psalm 86)

Listen to my plea and answer me,

   for I am weak and vulnerable, and I need your protection.

You are my God; and I am your servant, who trusts you.

Have compassion on me and give me mercy,

   I turn to you for solace, bring joy to your servant.

Be a balm for my heart and a tonic for my soul

You are forgiving and forbearing,

   your love is present always in all ways.

There is none like you, no deeds can compare with yours.

You have made the cosmos We adore you;

   We are honored by your presence.

You are holy and do marvelous wonders; you alone are God.

Accompany me, my Mother

   and I will walk in and with your truth;

   give me an undivided heart,

   that I may be not one, not two, with you.

I will praise you, my Lady, with all my heart;

   always in all ways

For you embrace me with love;

   and keep me out of harm’s way.

You are a compassionate and gracious God,

   slow to anger, abounding in love and faithfulness.

Turn to me, I need your mercy, save this child of faith.

We have received many graces and blessings

   and ask for more graces and blessings

Well, for years I was smart. I recommend pleasant. You may quote me." Well, for years I was smart, oh so very smart, I too recommend pleasant - Trust the harmony
