left alone and thankless

overlooked and useless…

unlovely

Missionaries sow

despite a lack of support –

where many are unfriendly,

where most are unwelcoming.

Embrace the rejected –

“What a life to seek such!..

To seek beginnings

with abandoned and deserted persons”[2]
