Compassion

beyond justice

beyond forgiveness

beyond mercy

beyond benevolence

Doing whatever it takes

to relieve pain.

Willing to allay

fear of retribution

tolerant

understanding

considerate

comforting

Making it so that the victim

does not suffer and ache.

Helping the offender

to make amends and be restored.

Compassion…

needs to be sympathetic

wants to be empathetic

induces care
