Putting Up With

Community is

putting up with and taking care of

with kindness and patience.

“Patience bears calamities

with constancy and calmness

and submits to the will of God.”[1]

Love is kind,

Love is grateful,

Love is pleasant. [2]

The marginalized

endure abandonment

and heartlessness.

Their forbearance

and unassuming meekness

changes hearts and lives.

Love is always selfless,

Love is slow to anger,

Love is quick to forgive. [3]

The greedy and thoughtless

are demanding

and give no return.

Bearing one another’s burdens

brings peace and joy

and make a spirit kind.

Well, for years I was smart. I recommend pleasant. You may quote me." Well, for years I was smart, oh so very smart, I too recommend pleasant - Trust the harmony
