Dear Mother, keep me safe.
I rest assured with your protection.
“You are my God.
without you, there is no goodness.”
Your people, who share with us, are wonderful.
I take great delight in them.
Those who worship other gods
have troubled hearts.
I will not make sacrifices for those gods..
my lips will not speak their names.
Dear Mother, everything you have given me is good.
you have made me happy.
I am content with what you have given me.
I am delighted with what I’ve received.
I will praise you for you have given graces and blessings.
even at night when my heart aches.
