Disorderliness

Full of chaotic conditions,

the duplicitous world

promotes perilous cruelty

and urges bogus loyalty.

Help me support truthful inclusions.

Full of disordered enticements,

the self-centered world

causes a tug to betray

and fosters total disarray.

Help me embrace proper inducements.

Full of tangled trespassing,

the self-absorbed world

disrupts assumed circumstances

and disturbs real consequences.

Help me sustain allied progressing.

Full of ragged untidiness,

the rancorous world

exploits systemic bigotry

and assaults stable symmetry.

Help me use measured responsiveness.

In the movie "Harvey", Elwood P Dowd, played by Jimmy Stewart, explains coping with the world this way: "Years ago my mother used to say to me, she'd say, 'In this world, Elwood, you must be' - she always called me Elwood - 'In this world, Elwood, you must be oh so smart or oh so pleasant.' Well, for years I was smart. I recommend pleasant. You may quote me." Well, for years I was smart, oh so very smart, I too recommend pleasant - Trust the harmony
