Here I Am

Am I here?

Distracted by cold,

by heat, by noise,

by quiet, by glare,

by darkness.

Called to change,

I obey direction.

I must be different,

and will never be the same.

I am on the way.

Here I am!

Present with warmth,

with chill, with silence,

with still, with reflection,

with light.

Here I am,

with you honoring us,

feeling pain,

embracing joy.

All for one and one for all.
