Can I walk on the water?
Can I soar under the sea?
These wonders I can do – by making
it real through believing then seeing:
transcendent acts with sister water.
These mysteries I can be – focusing
with care, work into play transforming:
calm always in all ways with water.
Will I stumble if I leave the turf?
I’m afraid I’ll tumble in the surf?
Stride the waves; let go and get a grip.
Go with the flow; don’t cling and don’t slip.
Lesson learned: “Let it be” in water.
Awash and floating in space and time –
Soaked with joy and drenched by hope – I’m fine
treading life and love in the water.
I won’t stumble when I leave the turf.
I won’t tumble when I’m in the surf.
